The operator, based in Perth, oversees fruit machines and other pub amusement equipment in venues throughout the country.
Through its deal with Okto, the Okto.Wallet mobile app and platform will be made available across more than 700 venues in over 1,800 machines.
“As the amount of cash in people’s pockets decreases it’s vital that we are able to offer our customers a cashless solution for gaming machines,” said Brian Campbell, Director at Fair City.
He added: “With years of experience behind us, we have earned the reputation for being a forward-thinking, progressive company.
“We understand the challenges facing licensed businesses and are always looking for new products or technology that can benefit our customers.”
Having only entered the UK in 2021, this deal will now see Okto’s reach extend from Plymouth in the south to Aberdeen in the north.
Rob Peché, who was named Okto’s UK Country Manager at the start of this year, expressed his enthusiasm for the company’s latest partnership.
“I am pleased to confirm our partnership with Brian and the team at Fair City, a company that’s widely acknowledged as the leading operator of gaming and pub amusement equipment in Scotland,” he remarked.
Peché concluded: “The partnership demonstrates how the Okto solution is suitable for all progressive businesses in the sector, and it shows how straightforward it is to onboard with Okto in a compliant and seamless way.”
