Sportsbook and iGaming platform Bets.io has struck a strategic content partnership deal with MMA promotion, the Professional Fighters League (PFL), as well as for the promotion’s ‘Road to PFL Africa’ documentary series.

Earlier this year, the PFL announced plans to launch PFL Africa, giving African fighters the opportunity to compete on a global platform.

As part of this partnership, Bets.io and the PFL will collaborate to create content for MMA and betting fans worldwide.

Furthermore, Bets.io will receive access to PFL fighters and PFL spokespeople. In return, PFL will promote Bets.io across its owned channels and promote the company at future events that take place on the African continent.

Additionally, Bets.io will become a betting partner of the PFL and will provide fans with exclusive behind-the-scenes content of the PFL’s journey towards the launch of PFL Africa, which will be distributed across the PFL’s and Bets.io’s social and digital channels.

Peter Murray, CEO of the PFL, commented: “The PFL is excited to announce its groundbreaking strategic partnership with Bets.io. When it comes to online cryptocurrency gameplay, you need a winner’s mindset and Bets.io has just that. I’m thrilled to be working with them.

“Road to PFL Africa, through the lens of Bets.io, will give MMA fans around the globe an intimate look at the story behind PFL Africa. This partnership will help us engage with a wider audience and provide valuable insights as we progress towards the realisation of PFL Africa.”
