Zitro is celebrating the debut of its first Wide Area Progressive (WAP) in Panama. The WAP will connect Zitro's video slot machines together in order to create an area-wide jackpot across Zitro machines.
The chosen platform for this project is the 'Altius Glare', a cabinet with a 55-inch 4K graphic resolution screen and a 27-inch full HD touchscreen. The system hosts 'Mighty Hammer Ultimate', a game that has been specifically adapted for WAP operation and aligned with the preferences of the audiences in Panama.
The connectivity among the machines has been facilitated through the UNIDESA Forward system. This new wave of interconnected slot machines offers a unique experience for players, with gameplay that players may find immersive and community-building.
Sebastián Salat, Zitro’s International President, stated: “The launch of our first WAP in Panama is a significant milestone for Zitro, confirming our company as a provider of machines for these WAP applications where Zitro’s gaming machines, installed in various casinos, are interconnected using the operator’s own system to build and offer common prizes.
“I want to express my gratitude to the technical teams of UNIDESA and Zitro for the work done to ensure the seamless integration of our equipment with the UNIDESA Forward system”.
This news comes after Zitro installed over 100 electronic gaming machines at Grupo Caliente, a Mexican sports betting company, earlier in the month.
