A perfect score for Metric Gaming with GLI-33 “clean pass”

Today, Metric Gaming announced that their technology and team have been awarded the highest GLI certification standard: GLI-33 Event Wagering Systems v1.1, receiving a coveted “clean pass” signifying no open remarks, questions or required changes following the submission.

GLI-33 is a global gaming industry compilation of standards and benchmarks established by Gaming Laboratories Limited (GLI) covering all facets of event wagering systems and signifies that Metric have met their rigorous standards and audits for security, fairness, and player protection.

This represents a significant milestone on Metric Gaming’s journey to launching their new platform in February with certification readiness across multiple jurisdictions. In addition to GLI-33, Metric has rapidly secured certification in the Netherlands, UK, Ontario and Sweden in recent months.

“It’s important to note that the ease at which Metric’s system is passing even the most stringent certifications is by design” said Bernd Schwarzer, Metric’s Director of Site Reliability.

“Rather than launch and pass one jurisdiction and then take months to be compliant in the next, we approached it from a new angle - from day one we’ve built our technology with base architecture, security and coding standards that allows for even the most onerous certifications to be achieved with minimal change and resource”

“But, the benefits of Metric Gaming’s new technology for operators extend far beyond ease of compliance” adds Tom Warburton, Commercial Director, Metric Gaming.

“The platform is built from the ground-up to allow customers to have their own, or multiple sportsbook “tenants” operating independently of all others. This facilitates the creation and operation of distinct, purpose-built sportsbooks in a manner replicating the autonomy and control of owning your own platform, but through a scalable, cost-efficient outsourced solution.”

Metrics’ focus now shifts to launching the platform with a European customer in the coming weeks, followed by multiple partners across regulated markets in 2024. Metric Gaming will also be at ICE2024 stand S2-240 next week demonstrating their new service.
