BTG licenses its U.S patented mechanic and MegaWays™ trademark to fellow supplier

Pioneering online slot developer, Big Time Gaming, continues to share its trademark and U.S patented IP with fellow slots suppliers after signing a deal to license its U.S patented MegaWays™ mechanic to Red Tiger Gaming. Red Tiger will combine this ground-breaking mechanic with its own distinct slots design, including its pioneering Daily Jackpots, Smart Spins player rewards engine and new tournaments application, to take player engagement and excitement to a whole new level. The partnership allows Red Tiger Gaming to design its own games using MegaWays™, which first debuted in Big Time Gaming’s Dragon Born more than three years ago.MegaWays™ is the name of a random reel modifier system that sees any given spin produce a different number of symbols across the reels, allowing players to experience a totally different game with every spin.Big Time Gaming has cornered the market for such games with this innovation with games like Bonanza, White Rabbit and Extra Chilli, and will be launching Who Wants to be a Millionaire in November – the most anticipated branded slot launch in history.Nik Robinson, CEO of Big Time Gaming, said: “We are thrilled to have joined forces with fellow game developer and innovator, Red Tiger Gaming. “We are excited to see how the hugely talented team at Red Tiger combines our unique mechanic with their own formula for creating hugely popular slots, allowing even more players to experience the fun and thrill of MegaWays™.”Gavin Hamilton, CEO of Red Tiger Gaming, said: “Nik and his team are real innovators and have built great brand recognition around MegaWays™ games. Players know what to expect when they see a MegaWays™ branded game and we will extend this to the maximum with some twists of our own. We are very excited about the vast potential for this combination.”The news comes hot on the heels of a similar deal with Storm Gaming, with the supplier licensing MegaWays™ to develop land-based and online slots with the first game due to launch in Q1 2019.
