1X2gaming announces IP agreement with Caliber Comics

London, England – 1X2gaming is delighted to announce an IP agreement with Caliber Comics to produce online slot games from a selection of its titles. In what is a unique agreement for 1X2gaming, this announcement will see 1X2gaming exclusively release four Caliber Comic branded slots in 2015, with more to follow in the future.

Deadworld is the first of the titles to be released which is based on the zombie apocalypse comic book which first debuted in 1987 and has since published over 100 comic issues and graphic novels. The title was the recipient of the Ghastly Award for Best Horror Series in both 2012 and 2014. Following the release of Deadworld will be three more Caliber Comics branded slots: Legend Lore, Mark Ellis’ Justice Machine, and Caliber’s unique look at Sherlock Holmes.

Gary Reed, CEO of Caliber Comics, said, ‘It’s great to see some of our titles make their way into the gaming arena. I have to say, it’s a thrill to see Deadworld spinning in the branded slots and knowing that Justice Machine and Legendlore will have expanded story development in the games which is sure to please the slot players.”

Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Reid, said, ‘I’m excited to be able to release further details on this agreement, which has been many months in the making. Caliber Comics are an iconic comic book publisher, and we at 1X2gaming are pleased to be able to offer our players branded games for the first time, in what is another significant step for us as a slots developer.’
