There have been a host of other positive results, such as an increase in US sports revenue acquisitions to €2.6m, which represents an increase of 149% and similarly, all non-Nordic revenue rose by 154% to €5.5m.
In addition, the company found that organic growth amounted to 12.5% and adjusted EBITDA equalled €5.4m, which corresponds to a margin of 46%.
On this successful quarter, Oskar Mühlbach, Raketech CEO, commented: “The fourth and final quarter of 2021 was a strong quarter for Raketech, and I am happy to see we have continued to deliver on our strategic goals of increasing the diversification of our business.
"Revenues amounted to €11.8m, which is a new all-time high for the group, representing an annual growth of 40% whereof 12.5 percentage points were organic. Thanks to benefits of scale, our EBITDA increased to €5.4m, corresponding to a growth of 50% and an EBITDA margin of 46%.”
Looking operationally, Raketech is taking forward steps into the US market. On 9 December, it completed on the acquisition of US tipster asset company ATS Consultants, agreeing on a purchase price of €13.7m of which €10.6m was settled in cash. It has also begun to lay the foundations for future US expansion by establishing a US business unit which will be led by a local Managing Director.
Sports revenue has been a particular success for Q4 2021, going up to 150% year-on-year. In particular, revenue from outside of the Nordics during Q4 represented 46% of the total, compared to 25% for the same quarter last year. Again, this equals an absolute growth of 155%.
So far, in January 2022, revenue has amounted to €4.5m with recent US acquisitions accounted for. It is predicted that the US revenues will account for up to 20% of the total from Q1 2022.
