SGPN makes case for its USFL gambling content

The Sports Gambling Podcast Network (SGPN) has signed a deal to become the main voice for the United States Football League (USFL), committing to produce content for the upcoming season.

Producing a two-part, 10-hour long live USFL Draft Show, the SGPN recently delivered interviews with five up-and-coming players, generating over 10,000 views last week alone. SGPN believes this demonstrates a level of consumer interest in accessing free sports-related podcasts, websites and apps.

It was also recently associated with NBC Sports’ pro-football news and information platform, Pro Football Talk, which linked to SGPN’s report in a post-Super Bowl display of analysis.

The podcast is led by Co-founders Sean Green and Ryan Kramer. Within initial conversations, they immerse themselves in the new Spring football league news and information, while talking to league executives.

Following these introductory conversations, the two-day live draft show was aired and included exclusive first interviews with USFL players, WR Peyton Ramzy of Tuskeegee University, QB Ben Holmes of Tarleton State, DL Adewale Adeoye of Utah State, OL Josh Taylor of Mississippi Valley State and OL Michael Rodriguez of Louisiana Tech.

Green commented: “It’s pretty much indisputable that we’ve got a greater depth of knowledge on the USFL than any media platform out there and our competitors will never catch up. Our football guys are rabid, they know what our audiences want and we’re getting the answers on quarterback and skill position talent, coaching and what teams will be tops in the trenches so we can make winning, educated picks.”

Prior to this month, SGPN posted more than 20 podcasts and over 15 articles detailing the players competing for roles within the league. In addition, SGPN analysts created rundowns of potential players for each position with analysts supporting the conversation, with breakdowns and reasoning within each position group.

A new alliance between SGPN and Colorcast will see SGPN experts giving expert thoughts on the social sports talk app. The platform will allow commentators to provide audio analysis to audiences in and around games and also viewed on television. Colorcast also provides users with stats, scores, betting odds and other real-time information about the game through its fully interactive platform.
