The arrival of the game will initially be introduced by long-term partner Sisal, which is set to be the first Italian operator to offer the game to online customers.
Founded in 1945 and working as the first Italian company to operate in the gambling and betting industry under a government licence, Sisal was recently bought out by Flutter for $2.17bn.
More recently, the company was unsuccessful in its bid to take over as the National Lottery operator in the UK.
Since then, the operator has built on partnerships, and only last month agreed a deal with Evolution for the provision of its online slots and jackpots from the Group’s NetEnt and Red Tiger brands.
Multi-Stream Matchday allows customers to play eight simultaneous football games and to choose which of the eight streams to watch from at any point.
Players also have the chance to wager across up to eight matches and create accumulator bets that result in higher prizes. In addition, highlights of every match will be available through Multi-Stream Matchday.
Steve Rogers, Inspired Entertainment Chief Commercial Officer of Virtual Sports, said: “Sisal has been Inspired’s partner since the Italian market opened in 2014 and we have worked together to bring a number of exciting new concepts to the Italian market.
"Multi-Stream Matchday joins V-Play Soccer™, V-Play Penalties™ and our new Women’s Soccer products to provide a full suite of Soccer products. The enthusiasm which has been shown towards our latest game, Multi-Stream Matchday, is further confirmation of the popularity of our Virtual Soccer product set, and we are excited to see these games attract new players and grow in popularity across multiple jurisdictions.”
Rogers features in the upcoming Sports Betting Focus, which will be available at ICE London and on the Gambling Insider website.
