The company, headquartered in Stockholm, is investing in a facility in Poland’s capital, Warsaw, which will host 60 new developers to “accelerate the development of a next generation platform.”
Working alongside the group’s existing teams in Sweden, the UK and the Netherlands, LeoVegas’ Warsaw tech hub will develop the company’s proprietary platform Rhino, a player account management (PAM) system.
This platform is used to handle all player data, payment transactions, payment integrations and games from iGaming providers across LeoVegas’ brand portfolio.
The new tech hub, LeoVegas said, forms a “key part of the group’s strategy to remain at the forefront of new technology and innovation.” Nevertheless, the group’s services will continue to be unavailable in Poland.
“LeoVegas’ success, and the award-winning gaming experience that we give our customers, is driven by our innovative mindset and our proprietary platform Rhino,” remarked Mattias Wedar, Chief Product & Tech Officer at LeoVegas Group.
“Our new hub in Warsaw, is a key part of our strategy to stay right at the forefront of innovation, new product development and payments while offering a highly personalised experience to our customers. Our new hub will kickstart this next phase of development.”
The operator’s Warsaw recruitment drive comes amid ongoing recruitment efforts across the group’s various offices. Approximately one third of LeoVegas’ workforce is dedicated to technology and product development, reflecting, it claims, the company’s “strong focus on technology.”
