Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati to host Moneymaker Poker Tour

The 12-day series will feature 18 events, including satellites, tag team tournaments and the Moneymaker Main Event.

The Moneymaker Tour, named after Chris Moneymaker himself, has announced its 12-day series at the Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati.

The event will launch on 21 September, 2023 and run through until 2 October, with 18 trophy events and over $2m in guarantees.

The buy-ins for the events will range from $86, for satellite tournaments, up to the $1,500 amount for the Moneymaker Main Event.

With a guaranteed prize pool of $1m, the Moneymaker will start on 27 September until the Final Table on 2 October.

There’s also going to be a Moneymaker Mystery Bounty Event with a $600 buy-in and $500,000 guarantee.

Chris Herbert, Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati Poker Room Manager, said: “Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati is excited to host Chris Moneymaker and his first Moneymaker Tour stop in the Midwest from 21 September through 2 October in the Hard Rock Event Center.”

In addition to Hold’em tournaments, the Moneymaker Tour will also feature a number of Omaha events.

These will include No Limits Hold’em/Pot Limit Omaha Tag Teams, as well as Omaha 8 or Better events.

The Ladies event will be held on 30 September, with $10,000 guaranteed and a $300 buy-in.
