WagerWire has announced the activation of bet trading capabilities with Red Rock Resorts on Station Casinos' STN Play.
This collaboration integrates WagerWire's marketplace technology with STN Play's Sports Plus, offering a range of slots, table games and sports betting options powered by Sparket.
With the introduction of WagerWire's marketplace functionality, bettors can now engage in buying and selling active sports bets until the event's conclusion.
The collaborative launch of this technology stems from WagerWire's earlier partnership with Sparket, facilitating bet placements across traditional sports, esports, live events, reality TV and more via a community-based social platform.
CEO of WagerWire, Zach Doctor, said: "This is the beginning of a new generation of sports betting offerings. Not only will STN Play users be able to bet on anything, but they will also have the option of selling those bets after the event has started, creating the next frontier of trading, engagement and entertainment.”
WagerWire also received GLI33 Certifications for system integration with Sparket and GAN.
STN Play's Sports Plus sportsbook incorporated Sparket bets earlier this year, drawing an influx of users. WagerWire's integration aims to further augment this growth, attracting new demographics to the STN iCasino platform.
WagerWire recently conducted a market study that indicated 76% of respondees prefer spending more time within a sportsbook's app if bet trading functionality were available.
