Ladbrokes launch single digital platform

LADBROKES’ new desktop platform has been released today and seeks to position the firm as the industry leader, providing the quickest and easiest customer experience across all key digital devices.
This latest significant digital move focuses on combining its sportsbook roadmap and development into a single work-stream with one front-end technology provider (Mobenga), deployed across web, mobile, tablet and other devices.
The single Playtech-developed platform will significantly improve speed and efficiency of product delivery – fulfilling Ladbrokes’ ambition to consistently tailor improvements to the needs of today’s customers.
Its adaptive approach provides more control over layouts and faster load times than alternative designs.
Key to the new platform launch is a clear focus on football ahead of the start of the new season with a suite of initiatives designed to attract loyal football customers. Ladbrokes’ “My acca” function is the industry-leading feature which tracks an acca in real time; the “5+ Acca Money Back” offer is set to return for the new season offering unrivalled value to customers, and with “Cash Out” now fully established, a compelling football proposition for the start of the new season is at the heart of the digital improvement.
Ladbrokes began work on its new desktop platform in January 2015 before completing the integration of the web and mobile teams into one single work-stream last month, and are promising more exciting developments in the coming weeks.
