Sky Racing World increases Australian horseracing offering

Kentucky-based distributor of international horse-racing content Sky Racing World has increased its Saturday night offering from three Australian Racing meets to four for North American customers.

Sky Racing World increases Australian horseracing offering

The company, a subsidiary of Tabcorp, Australia’s biggest wagering and entertainment company, provides Australian racing content for simulcast horse-wagering wagering to over 425 horse-racing tracks and off-track betting (OTB) outlets in USA, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.

This Saturday will mark the first week of fourth track availability and comes in response to the growing popularity of Sky Racing World’s Australian Thoroughbred Racing product in the North American market. The fourth meet will have a tote track code of AUD.

David Haslett, President and CEO of Sky Racing World, said: “It has been a very exciting and momentous time for both Sky Racing World and countless loyal Australian Racing fans that we work with. Our newest offer is yet another example of our commitment to delivering a world-class product that is reflective of the sport in which we operate.”

With Australia’s high-stakes Spring meetings rapidly approaching, Sky Racing World has confirmed that it is exploring the potential of expanding its daily offerings to cover the race meeting.

The Spring meetings, which run from September through November, will feature showpiece events, including the Cox Plate, Victoria Derby, and the 2017 Emirates Melbourne Cup.

In March, Sky Racing World announced the expansion of its partnership with TVG, the California-headquartered racing-focused TV network and advance depositing wagering (ADW) site, a deal which would see it increase its coverage of Australian Racing on TVG and TVG2.

Last week, Sky Racing World announced a partnership with the Korea Racing Authority to distribute horse-racing content to ADW sites throughout the Americas and Europe, commencing August5th, 2017.
