Svenska Spel goes live with updated Playscan offering

Swedish national state-owned lottery Svenska Spel has become the first operator to offer the latest version of responsible gambling software Playscan to their players.

Developed following input from gambling addiction support groups and usability research, Playscan 4.1 offers a new risk scale as well as an in-depth view of risk analysis.

The software, which runs on both desktop and mobile, displays the risk factors that have been found and analysed in a player’s gambling data, helping them to better understand the risks associated with gambling.

Svenska Spel CEO Lennart Käll said: “With Playscan 4.1 we are strengthening our responsible gambling initiatives further and taking new steps towards proactive harm minimisation.”
