Genius Sports and National Lacrosse League launch NLL Pick ‘Em Challenge

By Gambling Insider

Genius Sports has partnered with the National Lacrosse League (NLL) to launch the NLL Pick ‘Em Challenge for the 2021-22 Season.

Fans will have an opportunity to win cash prizes, among others, by answering 10 questions about the upcoming weekend’s action. Answer all 10 correctly and they will be in with a chance of winning a weekly $10,000 prize. The free-to-play game is available via nllpickem.com.

Ranking third in average attendance for pro indoor sports, behind the NHL and NBA, the National Lacrosse League is highly popular. The NLL is a men’s professional box lacrosse league in North America and works to promote the sport with its partners.

NLL Pick ‘Em was developed in association with Genius after it successfully delivered the NLL Summer Polling Challenge.

The London-based sports data firm is looking to deepen its relationship with the NLL after they joined forces in October 2019. This saw Genius conduct a global assessment of betting activity on NLL games to bolster the League’s integrity.

“NLL Pick ‘Em is another way that fans can stay engaged with the league and its players on a deeper level, encouraging greater knowledge of the game and rewarding our most loyal supporters,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz.

“And with all of our games more accessible in the US and Canada, following the progress of their NLL Pick ‘Em selections will be easier than ever.”

This news came a day after Genius Sports disclosed the purchase of common stock by individual members of its Board of Directors. Genius also recently announced its Q3 2021 results, reporting 70% year-on-year revenue growth.
