MGM Resorts launches rewards programme nationwide

MGM Resorts has taken its new rewards programme nationwide, bringing its benefits to millions of members across the United States.

MGMLion

The MGM Rewards initiative is similar to MGM Resorts’ previous M Life programme, but places less emphasis on gambling.

Customers who enrol in the company’s MGM Rewards scheme will be able to earn points at its more than 20 US destinations whenever they spend money on food, drinks and entertainment, among other items and activities.

These points can be exchanged for various benefits, such as complimentary dining, entertainment and hotel stays.

From its Bellagio, Aria, MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay properties in Las Vegas, to Borgata in Atlantic City, Beau Rivage in Mississippi and MGM National Harbor in Maryland; members can rack up and redeem points from coast to coast.

The MGM Rewards retains M Life’s five-tier structure — Sapphire, Pearl, Gold, Platinum and Noir — each with unique perks. And to incentivise people to participate, all members will benefit from a 2x multiplier on tier credits earned at MGM Resorts’ Las Vegas locations from 1 February to 30 April 2022.

“The enhancements we’ve introduced with MGM Rewards are rooted in feedback shared by our members and allow us to invest in providing members progressively more valuable benefits at each tier,” remarked Anil Mansukhani, MGM Resorts’ VP of Loyalty Marketing.

“Our unique rewards offer significant incentives for guests to achieve at every level from Sapphire to Noir.

“With our unparalleled collection of resorts and premier partnerships, MGM Rewards is a superior loyalty rewards program that enhances our members’ experiences nationwide.”

The launch of MGM Rewards will be accompanied by a corresponding app that aims to simplify members’ tier status and benefits, as well as visualising how they can progress through its tier system.
