The iGaming supplier, headquartered in Malta, has expanded its international footprint, bringing its content to the Central European country via operator Synottip, though it claims more brands will follow.
Tom Horn says it has already enjoyed some success in the Czech market, supplying its first line of video lottery terminal (VLT) products to some of the country’s land-based businesses back in 2008.
It is hoping that this experience, as well as the supplier’s “geographic and cultural proximity”, will place it in a “competitive position to expand its casino offering to local audiences.”
Ondrej Lapides, Tom Horn Gaming CEO, echoed this sentiment, saying: “The Czech online gaming market has seen impressive growth since it opened for licensing in 2017.
“It is still a rather small but dynamic jurisdiction. We see a lot of growth potential here. It is about carving out a spot in the competitive landscape and winning the market share.
“We’re confident that our successful track record on delivering content in the country in the past and thorough understanding of local player preferences will help us deliver the right products for players from the get-go.”
In a statement, Tom Horn further touched on the Czech market’s distinctive qualities. It claims that the country’s gaming sector is “firmly rooted in the land-based past” and has “numerous quirks” that make it a tough jurisdiction to navigate.
Nevertheless, the supplier believes it possesses the necessary know-how and product suite to succeed.
Lapides added: “Localisation is critical in the Czech Republic, and we work closely with our local partners to fine tune our content and create games to ensure they appeal specifically to Czech players.”
