Gaurav Bahri, formerly of Workday and Oracle, has joined the technology company and will take up his new role with immediate effect.

Bart Shuldman, Chairman and CEO, TransAct Technologies, commented: “We are pleased to welcome Gaurav Bahri to our already talented team. Mr Bahri comes with vast experience as a senior industry professional, with a strong background in sales strategy and business development in an enterprise environment.

“I have no doubt he will provide invaluable support to our BOHA marketing and sales efforts. Furthermore, Mr Bahri’s experience in enterprise software makes him a perfect match for TransAct. We could not be more excited to get to work on our massive pipeline of opportunities.”

Bahri is an expert in enterprise software, a field of business systems that helps the overall running and profitability of the organisation.

His role at TransAct will include leading sales teams responsible for delivering revenue objectives, creating a successful team environment and shaping the company culture towards consistent customer acquisition.

At Workday, Bahri worked as Regional Sales Director, following a period at Oracle America, where he served as Group Vice President.

His new employer, TransAct, has sold over 3.6 million printing appliances and terminals since launching in Connecticut in 1996.

The company partners with organisations in the gambling, food service, POS automation and oil and gas industries. Its software is used in companies across North America, LatAm, Europe, Africa and Australia.
