The operator's plans arrive in advance of the AGCO launching the regulated market for single-game sports betting in Ontario from 4 April 2022.
Players will have access to FanDuel’s embedded casino as well as the standalone casino app. Powered by IGT’s PlaySports platform, FanDuel will offer features such as Same Game Parlay bets, Odds Boosts, Data Visuals and streaming options for sports matches.
The FanDuel Casino will launch over 250 titles in live dealer, random number generation and slot games. Payment processing will be via Nuvei, meaning one single point for multiple payment options, including Interac, PayPal, MasterCard and Visa.
Another partner of FanDuel is Napier, the AML solutions provider, which will ensure financial crime compliance as well as safer gaming for players.
FanDuel Group CEO Amy Howe said: “We’re so thrilled to open our Canadian office and bring FanDuel’s sportsbook and casino to Canada’s passionate sports fans. This is a huge moment for the industry and we look forward to providing Canadians with entertaining and responsible sports experiences.”
Following its general approach to responsible gaming, FanDuel will commit to its “Play Well” ethos, ensuring continued customer safety and awareness.
