Catena Media agrees content partnership with Advance Local’s NJ website

Catena Media has announced a significant media agreement in North America, signing a multi-year partnership with Advance Local’s is a news and information website.  

Catena hopes its new partnership will broaden its audience's access to high-quality digital content for online sports betting and iGaming. 

Content on will now be authored by Catena writers, who will promote a safe betting culture as well as produce betting content, according to Catena. 

Catena’s North American Vice-President for Content Operations Dustin Gouker said: This is a forward-looking opportunity for Catena Media, allowing our sports betting experts to engage directly with a broader audience in the New Jersey market and nationally

“Our goal is to help readers become more informed with sports betting and online casino products, and to help promote a safer and more productive gaming culture.” 

Per the partnership, Catena will assume responsibility for all content released on and share revenue between all parties. Catena expects its deal to start turning a profit from Q3 2022.  

Advance Local Vice-President of Sports Betting & iGaming Howard Kamen said: “Sports betting and online casino gaming are rapidly evolving in New Jersey and beyond, and this partnership with Catena Media is a fantastic way for us to engage our readers with top-notch content and help them to better understand the landscape.”   

The move to strike a partnership with Advance Local is one of the biggest deals the affiliate has struck in North America, as it continues its migration from Europe to the US.
