Total revenue generated from all types of gaming, including fantasy contests, for July 2022 amounted to $429.1m.

Sources of gaming revenue regulated by the PGCB include slot machines, table games, internet gaming, sports wagering, fantasy contests and video gaming terminals (VGTs).

Retail slot machine revenue dipped by 4% year-on-year, despite being the highest generating revenue source, amounting to $213.9m.

The fall in slot machine revenue can perhaps be attributed in part to a slight decrease in the number of machines in operation, dropping from 25,710 to 25,684.

Sports wagering revenue amounted to $25.4m, representing significant growth of 28%.

Another area reporting positive performance was iGaming slot revenue, which rose by 14% to $72m.

Of casinos in the state, Parx Casino generated the most revenue, totalling $56.4m, despite an annual dip of 12%.

Parx also generated the highest revenue from slot machines, totalling $33.7m, representing a 13% downturn.

Wind Creek Bethlehem performed well, reporting revenue of $50.1m, representing growth of 14%.

Table games revenue for the month amounted to $86.7m, a fractional decline of 0.3%.

Wind Creek Bethlehem reported the highest revenue generation from table games, totalling $23.7m, an impressive uptick of 42%.

Total tax revenue generated from all forms of gaming and fantasy contests for July amounted to $177.1m, compared to $161.2m in June.

The PGCB recently issued a round of regulatory action, including a fine and two exclusions.
