The Massachusetts Gaming Commission has been distributing operating licences to operators ahead of the March 10 launch date.

Now, affiliate Gambling.com Group, has been issued the correct sports wagering registration by the Commission, and it would be set to provide marketed services once the legalised sports betting goes live at 10:00am ET.

In preparation, the company also launched BetMassachusetts.com in March 2022, to provide Massachusetts bettors with up-to-date information regarding legislative updates.

The website also acts as a comparison website, displaying information regarding the seven different sportsbooks that are ready to go live in Massachusetts. This can include promotional codes, details about bonuses and even in-depth reviews.

Charles Gillespie, CEO of Gambling.com Group, said: “We are grateful for the Massachusetts Gaming Commission’s decision to accommodate a change in regulation to allow performance marketing activities at the launch of the market later this week.”

Caroline Smart, Vice President, added: “Massachusetts allowing sportsbooks to take legal sports bets as the Celtics and Bruins prepare for deep playoff runs, and with March Madness around the corner, is a huge win for sports bettors in the state.

“The competitive marketplace in the Bay State will guarantee plenty of choices and opportunities for customers, who can count on our dedicated websites that feature trusted, comprehensive and up-to-date information on sports betting as well as reviews of the legal sportsbooks to provide them all of the resources needed to navigate these exciting times.”
