Betsson Group has launched its flagship brand in Denmark, by rebranding Casino.dk into Betsson.dk.
This brand will coexist alongside NordicBet, another brand from Betsson Group that is already operating in the Danish market.
By introducing this named online casino into the market, Betsson hopes to expand its reach in Denmark.
In addition to Betsson and NordicBet, Betsson Group currently operates over 20 different online gambling brands, including poker, bingo, sports betting and scratch-card platforms.
Ronni Hartvig, Betsson Group CCO, said: “Denmark has always been an important market for us.
“By consolidating our operations under the unified Betsson brand, we aim to harness the power of consistency, scalability, and synergy.
“This rebranding approach empowers us to further optimise resources, cultivate a cohesive brand identity, and extend positive impact through diverse marketing initiatives and global partnerships.”
For those who read the Betsson Group Q2 report, this development may not come as a total surprise.
After all, the company reported that 22% of its business revenue came from Nordic countries, such as Denmark, with only 11% coming from Western Europe.
Its casino division also accounted for 70% of its revenue, totalling €165.1m ($178.8m) and reporting a jump of 35% when compared to year-on-year.
The launch of the new Betsson brand will coincide with a new marketing campaign by the company, called “A bet makes the difference”.
This will be rolled out across ten European and Latin American countries when it goes live.
