As part of this collaboration, bet365 will become the Official Partner of the Charlotte Hornets and is set to be designated as the Official Mobile Sports Betting Partner of the Charlotte Hornets, pending bet365's licensing approval for operation in North Carolina.

Jacob Gallagher, Chief Revenue Officer of Hornets Sports & Entertainment, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating: “We sought a partner to enhance fan engagement since the legalisation of sports wagering in North Carolina and we believe bet365 is an excellent fit for our organisation.”

This partnership grants bet365 prominent branding opportunities, including signage at Spectrum Center, on hornets.com, Hornets' social media platforms, the Hornets App, and during the team’s TV and radio game broadcasts.

The deal also includes in-arena signage, featuring the bet365 logo on the courtside baseline aprons, activated during the NBA In-Season Tournament game against the Milwaukee Bucks.

A spokesperson from bet365 said: “Everyone at bet365 is thrilled to partner with the Hornets as we launch our sports betting brand in North Carolina. We look forward to becoming part of their exciting future.”

This move marks a significant step as North Carolina approaches the launch of legal sports wagering.
