This addition is part of a broader multi-million dollar project, contributing to a revamped gaming environment for poker enthusiasts.
With regard to the new facility, Beau Rivage Poker Room Manager, Adam Nash, commented: "We are thrilled to open our latest gaming amenity specifically for our poker players. Poker now has a permanent home that is closer to the casino entrance and the base of the conventional level escalators where our major poker tournaments take place, including our upcoming Beau Rivage Heater.
“Our poker players have called our temporary poker room home for several years. Our new state-of-the-art poker room is part of a larger-scale multi-million dollar project, and was definitely worth the wait. With the opening of the new room and likely our largest Beau Rivage Heater on the horizon, we are incredibly excited about poker in the new year and beyond.”
Situated between the recently refreshed Buffet and Buffalo Zone, the 12-table poker room aims to offer a contemporary playing environment with modern conveniences.
Dietz & Co. Architects designed the poker room with Southern hospitality in mind, incorporating light walls with hints of bright blue, coordinating with the overall aesthetics of Beau Rivage.
The space is also equipped with a four-window cashier’s cage, forms display and multiple HDTVs, aiming to ensure an immersive poker experience all around.
The poker room is now open daily from 10am to 4am and offers a variety of daily tournaments and promotions.
