Virtual games supplier DS Virtual Gaming has announced its new Head of Business Development LatAm, Jessica Quevedo. She comes to the role following a three-year position at Pragmatic Play, where she held the roles of Account Manager and Team Leader AM Peru for two and a half years and eight months respectively.
Quevedo has held a variety of roles in account management and customer service. One of her first notable roles was as BetConstruct as a Customer Service/ Account Manager. Beginning in late 2014 and concluding in May 2016, she worked for the company for over a year and a half. Other roles include positions at Merkur and Codere, providing her with experience in B2B and B2C companies both land-based and online.
In her new role, Quevedo will be responsible for DS Virtual Gaming’s strategic LatAm business development.
DS Virtual Gaming has been developing its audience and game offerings in LatAm, having unveiled a new racing game at the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) in June. The game, 'RacingHarness,' focuses on traditional sulky racing and presents bettors with HD video from a race course in Europe from which DS Virtual Gaming holds exclusive rights.
More broadly, the gambling market in LatAm has been growing steadily, with many new operators and suppliers entering or expanding their offerings in the continent in 2023, with examples including Pragmatic Play’s partnership with Gaming Platforms in December.
This growth has not slowed down, with Big Sky Ventures launching Betifyme Casino and Sportsbook in Brazil, Peru and Chile last week.
