Owned by Stars Group, BetEasy will receive the right to use NBA official data and assets in betting marketing materials, with the NBA to promote BetEasy to Australian basketball fans.

Launched in 2018 following Crown Bet’s acquisition of William Hill Australia, BetEasy is approved in 21 locations under its parent company’s license.

The NBA already has international sports betting partnerships with bookmakers in France, Mexico and Uruguay. In the US, its partners include FanDuel Group and MGM Resorts International.

BetEasy Chief Executive Matt Tripp said: "Basketball is the most popular and fastest-growing sport for Australian wagering customers."

Scott Levy, Managing Director of NBA Asia, said: "Australia has set the standard for cooperation between leagues and sports betting operators, and we are excited to leverage the local and global expertise of BetEasy to create the best possible gaming experience for our passionate NBA fans in Australia.”
