Tipbet nominated for SBC Rising Star Award

Tipbet has been shortlisted for the inaugural Rising Star in Sports Betting award, with the winners to be announced at the upcoming SBC Awards 2016. The accolade rewards the most prolific emerging operator or affiliate in the sports betting industry; with the ceremony to be held on Wednesday December 7th at the Under the Bridge nightclub in London.

This honour is bestowed upon the company that has emerged as the most successful new player in the market over the past three years. This is particularly judged against the success in growth, improvements in brand recognition and awareness, and new market penetration.

This is one of 15 categories that will be rewarded at the SBC event, with nominations considered by an expert panel to decide which company has shown the best success in the aforementioned categories.

The growth of Tipbet in such a short space of time was the reason for our shortlisting of the award. We have majorly increased the offering for our customers on our website recently – especially in reaching out to new segments of the sports betting market. This has been done by ensuring that customers that are not massive football fans – the most popular sport – are given the opportunity to bet on other events. This is why we have increased our eSports output, and, as well as streaming ESL events for free, we sponsor the AD Finem team in order to grow the profile of both parties.

In terms of brand awareness for the award, Tipbet has entered into a number of high profile partnerships with sports clubs and organisations that give our name exposure in various markets and countries.

With the growth of our company, we have increased our workforce significantly and have plans to expand into other regions following the success of our English, Turkish, Greek and German languages.

The shortlisting of the Rising Star in Sports Betting award was pleasing, and we have our fingers crossed for 7th December.
