hester-based digital agency Degree 53 has launched a new division, Degree 53 Gaming, as part of its brand extension that will focus on providing design services and bespoke technology to gambling companies. Degree 53 has announced that it is now recruiting for 20+ roles to support the expansion and demand.

The management team at Degree 53 decided to create a separate gaming division to reinforce the company’s status as one of the leading providers of online gambling technology. This initiative is part of a strategic growth for Degree 53 and has created a number of jobs in Manchester. The roles include automation tester, solution architect, senior front end developer, head of QA and senior project manager among others.

MD of Degree 53, Andrew Daniels, comments: “The gambling industry has always been one of our core sectors. However, over the past year, the work has become increasingly specialised and we feel the time is right to separate that service from the main agency. This is why we’ve decided to create a new gaming division and recruit more talented team members.”

He continues: “We’re looking to fill a number of technical and creative roles that will help us drive this expansion and the new division. This way, we’ll be able to scale our services and gaming proposition in the future.”

The agency has created a new website to strengthen its position and showcase services in the online gambling industry.
