BtoBet joins Cyprus Gaming Show to discuss the island’s emerging market

The high-technology supplier BtoBet has released an industry report ‘Focus on Cyprus Gambling Market’, which will present this month at Cyprus Gaming Show.

The conference, which will take place in Nicosia from 20 September to 21 September, will also see BtoBet Chairman Alessandro Fried participating as speaker on the Technology, Innovation and Disruption Panel on the last day.

Ahead of the show, Fried said: “Companies in Cyprus must have the capability to invest in products, services and brand reputation, able to capture a never greater market share. The creation of trustful partnerships is an interesting model to follow as well as providing a continuous flow between the retail andthe mobile offer.”

Proceeding with its Central-Eastern European roadshows,BtoBet’s team will be in Nicosia, the meeting operators wishing to discover farsighted sportsbook and iGaming platform tech tools for Cyprus.

Since the introduction of the online regulatory scheme, last November, 13 licenses have already been granted by the local betting authority in the last six months.

According to recent studies, the island show the strong interest of Cypriots towards sports, especially football, basketball and tennis, calling for an inevitable evolution of gambling towards sports betting as well as online and mobile.

In this developing market, fixed base, static operators can struggle to gain a foothold within the market if they don’t adopt useful strategies and technology tools to exploit all the potential of their business
