MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

In October 2021, soon after Sattar started serving as Sightline’s Co-CEO, the payment solutions provider signed a deal with Mastercard to launch Play+ Mastercard, a solution meant to simplify the deposit process for players. 

2022 was a good year for Sightline as the company, in collaboration with Green Dot and InComm Payments, began providing cash-loading options for Play+ accounts at over 100,000 throughout the US. 

Later that year, the company announced an investment of up to $300m to implement cashless gaming at slot machines across the US. According to Sattar, the investment would ‘immensely impact the gaming landscape for decades to come.’  

At the end of the year, in December, the payment solutions provider collaborated with Light & Wonder to launch cashless gaming solutions at Parx Casino, Pennsylvania. 

As of August 2023, Sattar became the sole CEO of the company.

AWARDS

In 2021, while under Sattar’s leadership, Sightline was named the best ‘Payment Solution of the Year’ at the Global Gaming Awards. 

EMPLOYMENT

Before being appointed Co-CEO in September 2021, he served as Sightline’s Executive VP for almost ten years. 

During his career, Sattar also served as SVP of Cash Access Services for Global Cash Access. 

Prior to that, he was the President of UB Ventures and he also served as the VP of Product Development and Sourcing for Phoenician Imports, a private wholesaler and retailer of home and hotel furnishings. 

Sattar’s career began with Wachovia Securities where he gained experience in debt capital markets and healthcare corporate and investment banking.
