Table game revenue was KRW18.8bn, up by 22% from the previous month, but still a 73% year-on-year decline from KRW68.94bn. Machine game revenue dropped by 5% month-on-month to KRW1.80bn. The table drop for the month of September was KRW135.8bn, a 10% increase from August but a 73% year-on-year decline.
Casino revenue for the first nine months was KRW261bn, a 54% decline compared to the last year. For the same period, total table game revenue was KRW241.30bn, a 55% drop from 2019, and machine game revenue was down by 41% to KRW19.73bn.
The financial information was based on the Walker-hill, Jeju Grand, Paradise City and Busan casinos and make up 80% of the group’s consolidated sales. The group had to close its casinos on March 23, Jeju Grand reopened on April 13, the other three casinos resumed work on April 20. Paradise City was closed again in September when some workers were tested positive for COVID-19, but it reopened a week later.
