Yaamava’ Resort at San Manuel opens on 13 December

Yaamava’ Resort and Casino at San Manuel has set a date for the grand opening of its 432-room luxury resort on 13 December, with a VIP invitation-only celebration for Tribal citizens and special guests.

YaamavaResort 2021

The resort features a 17-floor hotel tower with an elevated pool deck experience, 6,500 slots, five high-limit gaming rooms, various dining options, multiple bars and lounges and retail shops.

The event will be celebrated with a public promotion, with prizes valued at over $120,000 offered between 1pm and midnight.

The celebration will be kicked off with the draw of one lucky winner for the grand prize valued at $18,910 and, starting at 2pm, five new winners will be selected to receive $1,891 in free play.

The number 1891 is significant for this event, as it represents the year the San Manuel Band of Missions Indians was recognised as a sovereign nation.

San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Chairman, Ken Ramirez, commented: “As we watched Yaamava’ take shape over these last three years, the San Manuel community recognised we were building something special. We can’t wait for our valued casino guests and new visitors to experience all that Yaamava’ has to offer.”

Afsi Bird, VP of Hotel Operations, added: “In my thirty-plus years in the hotel industry, I have never been more excited to open a property than I am Yaamava’ Resort and Casino. With the guidance and support of the Tribe, we are building something truly unique that is rooted in exceptional service, and dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our guests.”
