Galaxy Gaming has announced the appointment of Cheryl Kondra to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.

Ms Kondra currently occupies the role of VP of Internal Audit at Tractor Supply Company, a rural lifestyle retailer from the US. Prior to Tractor, she worked in gaming, having served as the VP of Internal Audit and Chief Compliance Officer at Pinnacle Entertainment as well as the Chief Audit Executive at Caesars Entertainment.

With over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, she gained expertise in audit, compliance, regulatory and legal matters, all the while understanding the impact such issues have on the companies from the gaming sector.

Mark Lipparelli, Chairman of Galaxy’s Board of Directors, commented: “We are fortunate to have an individual with Cheryl’s experience join our Board.

“She knows first hand the expectations stakeholders have of companies serving the gaming industry, and she has helped some of the largest companies in the business exceed those expectations. I am confident Cheryl will bring material contributions to Galaxy as a member of the Board.”

Ms Kondra replied: “I appreciate the invitation to join the Galaxy Board. And I look forward to bringing my recent experience at Tractor Supply as well as my decades working for multi-jurisdictional public gaming companies."

Galaxy Gaming is a developer and distributor of table games, electronic wagering platforms and enhanced bonusing systems to land-based, riverboat and cruise ship casinos. Additionally, via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Progressive Games Partners, Galaxy licenses proprietary table games content to the online gaming industry.
