As part of the licensing agreement, authorised by the Dutch Gambling Authority, Aspire Global will be able provide its services to operators in the country.

Under the terms of the KOA Act, online betting has been legal in the Netherlands since 1 October 2021. One of the operators handed a licence upon launch was Holland Casino, with which Aspire Global signed a deal to supply content, via wholly owned subsidiary Pariplay.

This latest certification provides the authority for PAM, which is Aspire Global’s online platform, and its BtoBet sportsbook to operate in the Netherlands.

Tsachi Maimon, CEO, Aspire Global, commented: “The newly regulated Dutch market is growing quickly and is one of Europe’s most appealing iGaming markets. We expect the iGaming market in the Netherlands to grow to ultimately become one of the biggest in Europe and we’re excited by the opportunities we see.

“Now, when our complete B2B offering is certified, we are ready to play a major role in shaping the Dutch market and to enhance the player experience.”

Separately, online casino and sports betting operator, Karamba, has signed an agreement to utilise Aspire Global’s suite of services upon entry into the Netherlands.

According to the Dutch Gambling Authority, the country’s iGaming market is expected to grow to €1.5bn ($1.68bn) by 2025.
