April Henry, Charles “CJ” Prober and Constance “Connie” P. James have all joined the developer’s Board, headed by Executive Chairman Barry Cottle.

The company cited their “decades of relevant experience across the technology, gaming and digital entertainment industries” as its reason for appointing them to its Board. Into her new role, Henry brings over 20 years’ experience advising businesses across the tech industry on investments, mergers and acquisitions.

She founded Hawkeye Digital, a strategic consulting firm, for which she serves as Managing Partner, and co-founded Science Strategic Acquisition Corp. Alpha, a special purpose acquisition company, where she is currently Executive Vice President.

Prober, meanwhile, has spent considerable time in the digital entertainment industry, including a six-year period at American video game giant Electronic Arts (EA).

He originally joined EA as Vice President and Head of Corporate Development in 2008, rising to the position of Senior Vice President for Digital Publishing before his departure from the company in 2014.

Other notable roles held by Prober include Chief Operating Officer (COO) at GoPro and CEO at Tile, a position he currently occupies.

Finally, alongside her new role, James is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Light & Wonder, formerly Scientific Games Corporation, SciPlay’s largest shareholder.

“I am excited to welcome a diverse group of proven leaders to SciPlay’s Board,” said Cottle. “SciPlay is operating at the cutting edge of mobile games, and as we work to achieve our potential, having the right mix of perspectives in the boardroom matters.

“I look forward to working alongside April, CJ, Connie and our other board members to oversee SciPlay’s strategy to become a leading diversified global game developer and enhance value for our shareholders.”
