Inspired has been providing digital content for Betfred for over 15 years, delivering virtual horse races, dog races and bingo titles to the operator, where they are offered to players in over 1,400 Betfred retail locations.

Betfred Group COO Mark Stebbings said: “Inspired has been a trusted key supplier, and their virtuals have proven to be very popular with our customers in our retail venues. We have been impressed with their continued innovation in virtuals and we are excited that our customers will continue to enjoy Inspired’s best-in-class content.”

Inspired’s Virtual Sports have a global player base, on offer in more than 32,000 retail channels and over 100 websites in 35 countries.

“Inspired and Betfred have a proven and successful partnership. Betfred was one of the first retail operators to add multiple concurrent channels of content in the UK LBO sector, and have seen how successful this strategy has been in attracting players both pre and post the Covid-19 lockdown periods,” said Steve Rogers, Chief Commercial Officer, Virtual Sports for Inspired.

He continued: “We are thrilled to be extending our longstanding relationship, which is a testament to the strength of our Virtual offerings.”

Inspired published its first quarter annual results in May 2022, reporting a 166% year-on-year revenue increase.

The report highlighted the company’s return to pre-pandemic operating strength, after Inspired’s gaming and leisure business suffered losses due to pandemic-related restrictions the previous year.
