Supported by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the initiative is appealing to donors from all over the world to help raise money for generators for Ukrainian hospitals.
The goal of the campaign is to raise €500,000 ($528,900), which would be enough to purchase generators for 50 hospitals.
The initiative says this will help to save thousands of lives, from those struggling with a lack of heating to those on the front line seeking urgent medical care.
Parimatch has already donated €100,000 itself, which it did so on the first day of the “Light Up Christmas for Ukraine” project.
Recently, Parimatch continued its esports expansion by partnering with Team Secret.
The Team Secret club was founded by Clement Ivanov in 2014 and has consistently ranked among the top esports teams in the world, winning the first Team International competition and recently taking home the silver prize worth $2.4m.
Parimatch brand representative Stepan Shulga said of the deal: “Team Secret is a legendary brand for the entire DOTA 2 community since its foundation in 2014. Its exceptional persevering fighting spirit that perfectly matches the Parimatch brand character.”
Earlier this year, Parimatch entered into a global partnership with 00Nation.
An annual contract, Parimatch will gradually become the only betting operator with exclusive rights to the 00Nation brand. Together the two groups have begun to launch a series of marketing activities to “empower and grow the community”.
