Betfair signs sponsorship deal with Brazilian football team Cruzeiro

Operator Betfair has signed a new sponsorship deal with Cruzeiro for the return of Brazil’s top league, Série A.

Per the deal, Betfair will not only get more prime space on the men’s team jersey, but will also feature on the women’s kit as well as all across the football club’s digital assets. The contract will last for two years.  

Cruzeiro CEO Gabriel Lima said: “This historic partnership is the size of Cruzeiro. It has a lot of strength, a huge potential. The club is going through a very special moment.  

“With serious and professional work, we are recovering the fans' trust, which is fundamental for us.  

“Closing with Betfair, one of the giants in its segment, is an important step on Cruzeiro's way back to its well-deserved prominent position in Brazilian football.” 

Alongside the announcement, Betfair will launch a series of activities aimed at fans of Cruzeiro, including raffles, prizes for VIP tickets, exclusive promotions and experience days.  

Betfair will also showcase the Cruzeiro brand across its digital media, website and interview backdrops.
