Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM forge sports betting and hospitality collaboration

Marriott Bonvoy partners with BetMGM to allow users to earn hotel points through sports betting and online casino play.

Marriott Bonvoy, the travel program by Marriott International, and BetMGM have announced a collaborative venture.

This collaboration aims to provide additional incentives to fans, allowing them to earn rewards while engaging in sports betting activities. 

Through this collaboration, players located in licensed states will have the opportunity to link their Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM accounts. By doing so, they can accrue BetMGM Rewards points when participating in sports betting or playing at the online casino using the BetMGM app.

These earned points can then be exchanged for Marriott Bonvoy points, which offer access to various experiences, including free nights at Marriott Bonvoy's portfolio of hotels worldwide. 

Adam Greenblatt, BetMGM CEO, said: “The collaboration with Marriott Bonvoy is a monumental differentiator for us. This partnership will extend our brand to millions of potential new customers while offering our players the unique benefit of utilising its gameplay to tap into the world of Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio of experiences."

The integration between Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM will provide linked accounts with access to exclusive games, experiences and offers on the BetMGM platform.

To commemorate the launch, Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM are offering members the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles curated by basketball star Blake Griffin. This ‘Ultimate LA Getaway’ sweepstakes will grant one member and up to three friends an exclusive experience, including a stay at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel and curated activities.

This collaboration follows the introduction of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy, a brand offering that enables Marriott Bonvoy members to book reservations, and earn and redeem points at 16 hotel and resort destinations in Las Vegas and beyond.

Additionally, BetMGM recently made headlines for its successful debut at the Cheltenham Festival in the UK, despite facing technical challenges during the event.
