ng been granted a license for sports betting by the Danish regulator, LeoVegas has announced the launch of its LeoVegas Sport brand in Denmark’s regulated market.

The operator will now offer markets on more than 40 different sports to the country’s punters.

The timing of the launch coincides well with the start of the Danish Superliga, Danish football’s top division, with AGF Aarhus hosting AC Horsens on 14 July to kick the season off.

Gustaf Hagman, LeoVegas' Group CEO, said: "The launch of LeoVegas’ casino has been very successful and LeoVegas has established itself as a brand in Denmark.

“We see a clear growth potential for sports and strengthening, with today's launch, our offer in the Danish market. Our goal is to offer Denmark's fastest and most engaging sports gaming experience

“In parallel with the launch of LeoVegas Sport, we have invested in our live casino where we now offer the market's best live experience with the widest product range and exclusive tables for LeoVegas customers. With these launches, we strengthen LeoVegas’ offer in the Danish market.”

LeoVegas Sport’s launch in Denmark comes as the operator begins a concerted marketing push for its sportsbook services, which are supplied by Kambi.

The operator recently agreed shirt sponsorship deals with Football League Championship sides Brentford and Norwich City.
