With jam-packed event schedules and non-stop networking opportunities, it can feel like there is never enough time to see—or experience—everything a trade show offers. This year, G2E, held from 14 to 17 October at the Las Vegas Sands Expo, not only enhances the trade show experience in new and exciting ways, but it reflects the high standard the gaming industry provides its customers.

With more than 27,000 attendees spanning more than 300,000 sq ft. of show floor, American Gaming Association (AGA) Vice President of Industry Relations Allie Barth and G2E Event Director Korbi Carrison have found a way to make the mass experience feel not only more intimate, but far more intuitive and efficient.

Barth says: “This edition of G2E includes best-in-class educational sessions, exciting keynotes and industry updates, with new opportunities for attendees to have smaller, more intimate roundtable discussions with gaming leaders.”

Overseeing the designing, building and operations expected over four action-packed days, Carrison has spent the year preparing for next month. “G2E’s robust program line-up, combined with cutting-edge tech advancements on and around the show floor, will equip attendees with the tools necessary to maximise their G2E experience,” Carrison says.

Presenters to peers

For the first time, G2E will offer Roundtable Talks for Technology and Leadership sessions. These intimate group settings provide attendees the opportunity to engage with featured speakers more deeply than the educational sessions alone. On Wednesday afternoon, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm, attendees can choose from eight tech and leadership roundtable discussions on topics including VR in Gaming, Diversity & Inclusion and Using Guest Engagement Technology to Increase Revenue.

Leveraging tech to connect

G2E 2019 features new technology and an enhanced mobile app to provide a seamless experience and better connect attendees.

The G2E Mobile App now provides GPS-enabled booth-to-booth directions to anywhere on the show floor. Save yourself time by quickly navigating to your favorite exhibitors highlighted on the map and create your most efficient visit yet.

Touch-screen kiosks located throughout the show floor can also help you find your way to your next booth or meeting. The kiosks feature large-format, interactive screen displays, and custom content, including education session recommendations, exhibitor lists, maps and key locations.

Hot hits

Derived from innovations at G2E Asia, Hot Hits provides real-time ranking of the most popular products and services showcased by G2E exhibitors. Accessed via the G2E Mobile App, sponsored by Konami, scan the QR code of exhibitors or new products of interest, with an option to “Like” or “Favorite” products. Attendees not only get a say in what makes the Hot Hits list, but can also use the app to navigate the show floor, never missing a trending topic.

Connect from the palm of your hand
