EveryMatrix has released new reality check functionality for UK facing operators

Ever

EveryMatrix
yMatrix has released new reality check functionality applicable for all UK licensed vendors offered by CasinoEngine, in order to adhere to additions of the UK Gambling Commission reality check provision. As defined by the UKGC, the requirements for operators is to provide an “accessible facility that makes it possible for customers to set a frequency at which they will receive and see on the screen a reality check within a gaming session. A ‘reality check’ means a display of the time elapsed since the session began. The customer must acknowledge the reality check for it to be removed from the screen.”

As of 30 April, operators targeting UK are required to give players the chance to set a ‘reality check’ – a warning which pops up at certain intervals throughout their game session. Likewise, providers are required to comply with new auto play rules which give players the chance to set loss limits before starting an auto play session.

Reality Check is live since end of April on EveryMatrix platform for several of our casino vendors including NetEnt, PlayNGo, Evolution, Microgaming, IGT and Realistic. This represents one of the largest selections of games in the industry and our clients’ sites are compliant with UKGC latest requirements.

To ensure compliance with all regulations in the various countries and gaming jurisdictions EveryMatrix experts are continuously assessing various regulation updates and pro-actively taking steps to ensure that the necessary technical work for our clients and our products is completed.
