NSoft & Kiron Interactive: Virtual gaming the perfect partner for sports betting

As part of a roundtable on virtual gaming, Gambling Insider spoke to representatives from NSoft and Kiron Interactive about the past, present and future of the forward-looking vertical.

Ivan Rozic, NSoft’s Senior VP for Sales and Marketing, was keen to emphasise the contribution of competitors such as Inspired Entertainment, Golden Race and Kiron in this area.

Meanwhile, Steven Spartinos, Kiron’s Co-Founder and Co-CEO, agreed with Rozic on one key point: virtual gaming perfectly complements sports betting on an operator’s website.

What would you say virtual gaming's biggest competitors are?

IR: Virtual gaming products do not have a natural competitor in terms of other product categories. It works great alongside classic sports betting and lottery products and we believe it is an essential part of every operator's business.

In terms of companies offering virtual gaming products, it is definitely worth mentioning the likes of NSoft, Inspired, Golden Race and Kiron, which have contributed tremendously to the popularisation and importance of these products.

SS: Virtual sports are always compared to live sports when it comes to rivalry. However, for best results they need to work side-by-side to supplement each other.

Other than live sports, other competing products would include scheduled number draws such as lottery and keno games, as well as roulette-style monitor games. When considering instant-win virtuals, any instant-win game offered online or on gaming terminals could be considered a competitor.
