The province of Ontario is set to launch online gambling on 4 April, with BetRivers the latest betting operator to receive its licence.
In recent weeks, the likes of Rivalry Corporation, PointsBet, theScore Bet (subsidiary of Penn National Gaming) and 888 Holdings have been granted operator licences by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).
Bragg Gaming Group and Gaming Realms are among those to have been granted gambling supplier licences in the province.

RSI has had a presence in Ontario since October 2021, when the operator launched Casino4Fun, offering customers a chance to play casino-style games with no money involved.
On the success of RSI’s Casino4Fun platform, Schwartz said: “Our free-to-play social gaming platform has experienced strong traction in Ontario to date, and we look forward to offering those players similarly entertaining and responsible experiences when our real-money offerings come on 4 April.”
Canada will mark the third country where RSI operates a real-money casino and sports betting service, in addition to the US and Colombia.
