NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are crypto assets that are unique to their owners. Often, they take the form of playable items in video games or esports, though the most popular form is digital artwork.

With the support of Bitcasino, which styles itself as one of the first fully crypto-based gambling operators, Caleta Gaming and Paradise Trippies have created a slots title that rewards players by allowing them to compete for NFT artwork, which has the potential to increase in value over time.

Fabiola Jaeger, Caleta Gaming CEO, commented: “One of Caleta’s main objectives in 2022 is to invest in innovation. To strengthen this path, we believe the association with strategic partners is very important.

“In this joint-venture between Caleta, Paradise Trippies and Bitcasino, we combine these elements to create an innovative game I’m sure will be a great success.”

Caleta Gaming is a Brazilian B2B casino supplier and has developed a portfolio of over 90 titles, including slots, bingo and lottery. This represents the first NFT-based game created by the company.

Luis Proença, Product Owner, Caleta Gaming, said: “A few slot games were released with an NFT theme, but we wanted to achieve something new for the crypto community. So, we decided to take a step further and make a game where the player can really win NFTs during the bonus feature.

“We are very excited with this new technology we’ve developed and all the possibilities that come along with the blockchain integration.”

Andy Booth, Founder, Paradise Trippies, said: “We are delighted to have teamed up with Caleta, a subsidiary of Bitcasino, and they have produced something special here. We are excited to produce an entertainment platform and gaming community on the Paradise Trippies island.”
