Blackmon, who officially becomes an Athlete Ambassador with the betting operator, is set to feature in a number of upcoming marketing campaigns, social media engagements, fan events and promotional activities.
The four-time MLB All-Star, who is also the second-longest serving player in Colorado Rockies’ history, has enjoyed a prolific career since his second-round draft selection in 2008. Playing his entire career for the Rockies, he ranks second in terms of hits, games played and at-bats, as well as placing third in terms of runs scored and total bases.
MaximBet CEO Daniel Graetzer commented: “Charlie is one of the most revered Rockies players of all time, and his style and career success make him a perfect fit for MaximBet. We are thrilled to welcome Charlie to the MaximBet family. We look forward to him hitting it out of the ballpark for us as we continue to grow in Colorado and across the country.”
Blackmon will also collaborate with SolesbySir, a custom artist whose real name is Marcus Rivero, as part of the agreement. The artist is expected to create a range of personalised items for the baseball star.
As part of the drive to acquire new customers, MaximBet will gift selected new account holders their own custom items designed by SolesbySir, as long as they sign up by 30 April.
New customers are also being offered a $500 risk-free bet on any sports wager.
On the partnership, Blackmon said: “As I learned more about MaximBet, I knew this was absolutely the right brand for me. MaximBet has really attached itself to the local Colorado community, and I cannot wait to have some fun with MaximBet and surprise fans with incredible ‘money can’t buy’ experiences all season.”
