NetBet has officially entered the gaming market in Denmark after it received a Danish Gambling Licence from the Danish Gambling Authority. This deal will see NetBet’s portfolio of games made available to players in Denmark.

As part of its launch into the Danish market, NetBet has partnered with two game providers, Push Gaming and Pragmatic Play.

Titles from Push Gaming including Razor Shark, Goat Getter and Boss Bear will be accessible to players, while game titles such as Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush and Sweet Bonanza from Pragmatic Play are already featured in NetBet Denmark’s most popular category, alongside others.

In other news, NetBet Italy entered into a partnership with Espresso Games last week, bringing the online games provider’s content to the Italian market.

NetBet Denmark’s PR manager, Claudia Georgevici, said: “We’re excited to launch in Denmark. Opening in this market is an important next step for our brand as we look to open in more licensed territories within Europe.

“Our extensive experience of creating exciting and rewarding online casino experiences with our players will be great for our new customers and we look forward to welcoming them to our team.”

Related to the Danish market, at the start of the year, Spillemyndigheden released data that showed a drop in retail betting in Denmark and while there was no definitive reason behind the drop, mandatory Player ID requirements did only come into force in the country on 1 October 2023.
