Vibra Gaming has announced the launch of a new retail Video Lottery Terminals (VLT) division.

The newly introduced Vibra VLT division reportedly offers flexible solutions designed to cater to the needs of its clientele.

The VLTs will provide an omnichannel solution, aiming to meet regulatory standards, including certification from Gaming Laboratories International (GLI). Expansion plans include entry into the markets of Mexico and Peru in the coming months.

Vibra's proprietary Electronic Gaming Machine (EGM) platform, central to the VLT terminals, has reportedly been tailored to suit the nuances of the Latin American market.

It’s supposed to offer adaptability to existing hardware configurations and both in-house and third-party content, addressing the region's demand for flexibility.

The decision to launch the VLT division was reportedly spurred by Vibra's success in deploying its platform and content across terminals in Brazil. The company aims to expand its content portfolio by extending its presence to hundreds more VLTs in Brazil, building upon positive reception in states such as Paraíba and Maranhão.

In June 2023, Vibra became one of the first providers to introduce lottery-certified content on VLTs and retail terminals. Its 'Scratch-a-Lot' product, certified by GLI, offers players a gaming experience tailored to lottery-centric markets such as Brazil and the United States Class-2 jurisdictions.

Ramiro Atucha, Vibra Gaming CEO, said: “We offer our own content (Vibra Gaming), our own omnichannel platform and technology solutions (Vibra Solutions) and now our own VLT platform solutions (Vibra VLT), catering to any need customers may have, all of which is fully flexible and fully localised for the LatAm market.

"Our first steps in the VLT market have been hugely successful, integrating our platform and our content across terminals in Brazil and the launch of the new division is the next, natural step. We’re very excited for the future.”

This announcement follows Vibra Gaming's partnership with 3 Oaks Gaming, a distributor of iGaming content, as part of the company's ongoing efforts to strengthen its presence in Latin America.
